If you’ve recently seen an All Families Secure post pop up in your social media feed, you might have paused for a second. We get it. It seems like a contradiction, doesn’t it? A business dedicated to digital safety and (as part of that) promoting social media moderation, now showing up on the very platforms we encourage you to use with caution.
It’s a paradox we’ve thought about deeply. For us, Alex and Fabian, this wasn’t an easy decision. As founders, we aren’t personally active on social media. Our expertise comes from the world of cybersecurity, professional networking, IT infrastructure, and digital enablement—not from building a follower count.
So, why the change? The simple answer is: we need to meet you where you are.
The reality is that Australian parents are on social media. It’s where communities are formed, where information is shared, and, as we’ve learned, where so many of you are actively seeking help and guidance. We’ve seen the huge online parenting groups and the thousands of questions posted every day about cyberbullying, inappropriate content, and how to manage screen time. The concerns are real, and the need for clear, expert advice is urgent.
We realised that to truly support families, we couldn't just talk about the digital world from the outside. We had to step into the arena where these conversations are happening every single day.
But we are stepping in with a very clear mission, and we want to be upfront about it. We're not here to be influencers, but to be your trusted, expert guide in navigating the digital world safely.
Our philosophy is simple: Guide, not Guru.
You won’t see us chasing trends or adding to the digital noise. Our goal is to provide a calm, knowledgeable, and helpful voice in a very loud space. Think of our social media presence as an extension of our blog and our direct consultations—a place where you can find:
- Practical, step-by-step guides for securing your devices and apps.
- Simple explanations of complex topics, like the latest advice from the eSafety Commissioner.
- Actionable scripts and ideas for having those tricky tech conversations with your kids.
- A supportive community where you can feel confident you’re getting advice grounded in technical expertise.
- Clear guidance on how our professional services, like creating a child-safe home network, can help you build a truly secure digital environment for your family.
Our perspective as non-users is, we believe, our strength. It allows us to look at these platforms objectively—to analyse their architecture and risks from a security standpoint, without getting caught up in the game. We’re not here to sell you a lifestyle; we’re here to provide the tools to make your family’s digital life safer.
Thank you for trusting us. We look forward to connecting with you and continuing to support your family on this journey.
If you do want to connect with us on social media, you can find us on Facebook, and Instagram.
Stay safe online,
Alex & Fabian
